Joshua Wiggs

Pastor Joshua Wiggs began his Pastoral Ministry in February 2017 as an interim Pastor at the New Hope Parish of the United Methodist Church in Putnam County, Illinois. He went to License to Preach School through the Illinois Great Rivers Conference of the United Methodist Church in July of that same year, and became an official Licensed Local Pastor on September 1st 2017. Upon becoming officially licensed, Pastor Joshua was fully appointed as the Pastor of the New Hope Parish, where he continued to serve until his transfer to Kentucky July 1st 2019.

On July 1st 2019, Pastor Joshua began his appointment here at Lancaster Methodist as a full-time pastor. Since then, he has served as our pastor and has represented our Church in the local Ministerial Association where he served as the secretary of the association for 3 years and still serves as a member of the assocition.

Pastor Joshua has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University where he graduated in December of 2017.
He is currently enrolled in Asbury Theological Seminary where he is pursuing a Masters of Arts in Christian Ministry.
